Small Vaults

A separate space beneath the Patriarshy Bridge next to the House of Culture is designated for performative, somatic, and vocal practices.

This is a venue for contemporary artists’ performances, as well as dance, singing, contemporary theatre, and yoga classes during GES-2’s thematic programmes. The Small Vaults include a rehearsal hall that transforms into an intimate performance space (with a capacity of up to 30 people), changing rooms, and shower facilities.

Like the Vaults Centre for Artistic Production, the Small Vaults occupy the vaulted brick premises of the former warehouses of the Ivan Smirnov and Sons vodka factory. The Vaults and Small Vaults are not directly connected, but both complement the activities of GES-2 House of Culture.
