Individual studios for painters and sculptors at the Vaults Centre for Artistic Production.
The Vaults Studios

The studios occupy the Constructivist building of the former laundry facility that once served the House on the Embankment, constructed between 1929 and 1931. Within these spaces, artists can create easel paintings, graphic art, collage, sculptures, and installations that are simple to assemble.
Each studio is equipped with easels, shelving, and a utility sink. Canvases can be mounted, hung directly on the walls, or laid out on the floor. The Studios also feature large panoramic windows, professional lighting, and a dedicated ventilation system.
Artists working in the Studios have access to a shared kitchen and a lounge area complete with a table, armchairs, and a small library.
There are two ways to secure a space at the Studios.
The Programme for Painters and Sculptors expands upon the opportunities provided by the Vaults Centre for Artistic Production. Selected artists will be able to spend three months working on their projects in a comfortable, spacious individual studio, while immersing themselves in the life of the House of Culture.
Applications for the programme open several times a year. Only individual applications are accepted. They are reviewed by
