Animation and sound workshops
This group is for those who have always wanted to know how animated films are created—from the birth of an idea to its appearance on screen. Each day we will meet to work on the plot, characters, and scenes of our future project. We will compose, draw, sculpt, record voices, listen to each other and bring together what currently exists only in our imaginations. Someone will create the plot, someone will make a plasticine character, someone will record the sound of rain or create a musical theme.
Sessions are conducted in English with Russian translation.
Please note: laboratory participants must attend all sessions.
We invite children aged 8 to 12. To register, please answer* the questionnaire below and send it to atelier@v-a-c.org (put “Abracadabra” in the subject line). We will prioritise fully completed applications.

Work will take place in two zones: one for creating the visual elements, and another for sound and music. Not a single detail will escape our small but determined creative team! We will build a real animated story step by step, just like professional film studios.
Participant questionnaire
— What is your name? (first and last name)
— How old are you?
— Will you be able to attend all five sessions?
— What moment from your life would you definitely include in a film about yourself?
