A work-in-progress often differs substantially from its final form. It typically comprises separate elements discovered during rehearsals that have yet to be integrated into a cohesive performance. By naming this series Easy, we invite both choreographers and viewers to approach these showings as opportunities for observation and discussion.
What questions and concepts are contemporary dance artists in Moscow and beyond currently exploring? What imagery and communication methods do they develop to address their interests?
The project also features digital collages by artist Anton Budnenko, created specifically for each performance using AI. Anton develops these works from the choreographer’s ideas, associations, photographs, and visual references, adding another rich visual dimension to each presentation.
