Our Principles
Equal Dialogue
The effectiveness of guided discussions depends on both the mediator and the participants. Tour discussions are based on personal experience, opinions, and individual perceptions.
Group Introduction
At the beginning of the tour, the mediator may invite participants to introduce themselves and share their interests, visiting objectives, and views on contemporary culture.
Exchange of Experience and Views
When discussing exhibitions or architecture, the mediator poses questions to encourage the exchange of observations and impressions.

Tour Participation Guidelines
We value each other’s opinions and maintain respectful dialogue based on the following principles:
— Statements that demean minority groups, promote intolerance, discrimination, or incite violence are not permitted.
— Comments evaluating personal qualities, competence, or social status of the mediator or participants are not permitted.
— Insults, provocations of conflict, or disrespectful behaviour towards the mediator’s or other participants’ viewpoints are not permitted.
— Questions to the mediator must adhere to ethical communication standards.
— The mediator may decline to answer questions that could breach professional guidelines or confidential information.
— The mediator may decline participation in amateur photography/videography or social media publications.

— Should these guidelines be breached, the mediator may issue a verbal warning or request the participant to leave the group. If the participant refuses, the mediator is authorised to request security assistance.
Tour Duration and Structure

— Discover the Vaults mediated tour: up to 90 minutes.
— Exhibition mediated tours: 60 to 120 minutes.
— Mediated tours for families with children: up to 90 minutes. Please note that these tours emphasise joint adult-child participation, active discussion, and creative tasks rather than detailed artwork explanations.
— If the entire group is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the mediator may cancel the tour.
— Participants arriving more than 30 minutes late will not be admitted to the tour.
Restrictions
Photography and video recording during mediated tours are permitted using mobile phones only, subject to prior arrangement with the mediator before the tour commences.
