The Vaults is one of the oldest buildings on Bolotny Island. Former warehouses built in the 1870s for Ivan Smirnov’s factory were discovered by chance during reconstruction of GES 2, and now house the Centre for Artistic Production: workshops for creative professionals and GES-2 resident artists. Visiting the Vaults is only permitted in a group with a mediator.

On this tour, visitors will discover the history of the building and its restoration, view hi-tech equipment, and learn about the workshops, the ColLab programme and the Friends of the Vaults Club.
