Practicum

The Vaults offers programmes for professionals who want to grow in their field. This is an opportunity to learn new practical skills, as well as to deepen existing knowledge in a particular area.

The first programme was the Photo Basis printing practices laboratory for professional photographers and artists who work with photography. The laboratory’s first sessions were held in 2023, with the second season beginning in August 2024.

In November 2024, the Vaults Centre for Artistic Production hosted Sound Basis: From Music to Sound. A Laboratory for Artists and Musicians, a programme dedicated to artistic sound practices and aural culture. An open call for programme participants was announced on 15 September.

Both Photo Basis and Sound Basis include theoretical and practical components and culminate in a public showcase of works created during the courses.
