The Vaults Centre for Artistic Production invites you to explore the workshops, learn new skills, and work on professional equipment.

At the 3D printing workshop, you can create your own 3D portrait or miniature copy of any object you bring (the size of the finished item will not exceed 100 × 100 × 100 mm). Vaults specialist Sergei Kalinin will explain the technical subtleties of 3D scanning and printing, and help you with your work.

For best results, choose an object with a matte surface; if it is shiny or reflective, it may be necessary to treat it with talcum powder to improve visibility for the scanner. If you are planning to make a portrait, you should not wear bright or shiny clothing, and also wear a headscarf or a hat, as the scanner has difficulty recognizing hair; the workshop can provide you with a hat if you do not bring your own.
Collection of the finished product after post-processing takes at least three working days. The workshop specialist will give you more details.
