A Spanish farmer and his son search for their missing daughter and sister at a rave in the Moroccan mountains. The dancers are dispersed by the military, but several people, including the desperate father, break through the cordon and head for another underground party. On the way, the radio announces the start of World War III.

Pedro Almodovar is among the film’s producers, and Sirāt is reminiscent of him in its expressive use of cinematic tools and daring plot twists. The non-professional actors here are more convincing than some stars: raves have never looked so spectacular on the big screen.
