17-year-old Sasha is too merciful for a ghoul and is incapable of biting a living creature. As a child she fed on ready-made blood supplies, but now for educational purposes she is weaned from them, and has to look for a victim—given the heroine’s humanism, preferably suicidal. A volunteer is found, but first he asks to fulfil his last wish.
