The
Grants for artists place no restrictions on topics, method or selection of medium. Criteria for inclusion in the programme are a convincing artistic idea and a clear concept of work on the project and expenditure (funds may be spent on workshop rental, materials and trips, or on freeing up time budgets needed for work on the project or projects).
Grants for curators place no restrictions on candidates in selecting topics or methods, or project participants. Selection criteria are a convincing curatorial idea and a clear concept of the work process and expenditure. Funds may be spent on gathering artistic or archive materials, services for translation or transcription of audio and video files, and also on trips or freeing up time budgets needed for work on the project or projects.
Grants for researchers are assigned for researchers of Soviet and post-Soviet visual culture. Funds may be spent on trips, payment for editing and proof-reading services, collecting archive materials, translating or transcribing audio and video files, and also freeing up time budgets needed for working on the project or projects.

The third grant period will run from 1 October to 31 December 2023. The open call for grants extends from 1 to 31 July 2023.
The second grant period runs from 1 June to 31 August 2023.
In April 2023, the jury examined over 140 applications from artists, over 20 applications from researchers and 20 applications from curators. Grants were received by:
