In Simone Scafidi’s film, the director’s colleagues, friends and relatives talk about this inspiration—namely Gaspar Noé and Guillermo del Toro, Nicolas Winding Refn and Vittorio Cecchi Gori, as well as Argento’s wife, their daughter Asia and the actresses of his major films.
